Default ASAT in the trees?

I'm looking for some camo for next season and came across the ASAT pattern from Day One. Is this a good camo pattern for treestand hunting here in the midwest? It seems to be a favorite out west with the spot and stalk hunters. I originally was thinking Predator Grey was the way to go. How about mixing the two patterns? Or should I stick with good old Mossy Oak? Any thoughts and experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Chip

I think that ASAT and Predator are the best two camo patterns for anywhere. They might not appeal to the hunter as much but when you get 50 yards from it, it breaks up where normal camo makes a dark blob. Go with either one.

Lilhunter,

You mentioned somewhere that you like the ASAT polar fleece. Is that the Day One jacket or pullover? If so, do you like the design of the jacket? Is it good quality fleece? Would you recommend the comfortmax liner?

Two of my hunting buddies and I use ASAT through-out the season here in MN. One has used it out in Elk Country as well. Mcuh of the stuff on the market is just TOO dark!
Good Luck!

I am so glad to here from fans of the ASAT. I use it and all my friends look at me and think I am crazy. They wear the camo with the big name brand and it does look good in the store. Without a doubt ASAT really disappears in the real world (the woods). I use it all year.

Mine is very similar to the Day One Jacket with a hood. Its the arctic fleece weight....I need to get a new set from Day One as the guy I picked up mine from said the company he bought his is gone....been looking at there stuff for awhile now and wished they had a hooded jacket, oh well! Check my web page out..I am wearing in on my sheep pics...

I am on the ASAT HUnting Advisory Board, we are coming out with a new line very soon. I have hunted with it for years, it really works. The new ASAT 3D is great you just put it on over everything. If the is anything I can do let me know. [email protected]

Lilhunter, ASAT year around regardless of the green around you. You'd be surprised how green ASAT is when your surroundings are green. Like RN HNTR mentioned, it truly makes you invisible to game.
