Default What is the best broadhead?

Ok, I know what yall are thinking and NO....this is not another "Best Broadhead" question, then again, maybe it is.

We have been doing some rabbit and squirrel hunting the past few weekends with our bows and let me say....WHAT A BLAST!
We started out by using just field points but they get burried up in the weeds and leaves making it very hard to find our arrows. We switched to judo points but you can't shoot through grass and brush with them hanging up. We now are using these little thingys that you put behind your field point that are small blades in the shape of a star. They work pretty well but I was wondering if anyone else had a better idea.
Seems like I saw somewhere that there are very small fixed blade broadheads, maybe 1 inch long with about a 3/4" cutting diameter. I was thinking these would be awesome but I can't find them again.

Any suggestions????????

If it's just for rabbits and such why not use the rubber bludgeon points (I think they slip over the field point but there may be plastic ones that screw into the arrow too). I think I would use bigger vanes(flu-flu) to make them not carry much past 30-40 yards. Also check your regs. as some states say you must use broadheads. I remember seeing those broadheads but don't remember where. I have enough old broadheads laying around that I would use these if I went that route instead of buying new ones. Anyhow sounds like your having a blast. Maybe I'll try that when I can get around again. My beagle would like that too. (I usually miss them with my shotgun so missing them with a bow won't be anything new).

those stars are what i use! the very first day i got my bow we were rock chuck huntin with judo pionts and them stars and anyway i shot the biggest porkypine wiith a judo point. let me tell ya that is not smart, i was only pulling 40 lbs. and it stuck ing him only 2 inches. it killed him but very scary getting the judo point out! my dad said that if i was using a star then it might of gone throw him! but any way have fun!!

Even though they are touted as a small game head, judo's are better used when stump shooting so the arrow doesn't snake under the turf.

The magnus small game blunt with razor insert is a great head for squirrels and small rabbits. For larger rabbits like jacks, groundhogs/marmots and other game, I use broadheads. Same ones I use for deer.

Most of the compound hunters I know use flu flu's with blunts. Especially if they are tree shooting the squirrels.

Mr4pt, I don't know how they sell the ones that screw in, but when I buy them to glue on they come 3 to a pack.

Yep, they're gonna do a real good job for you.
