I would rather shoot a heavy masses buck that scored 130 and was 5 1/2 than a skinnny rack of 150. Just personal preference.

Assuming you didn't luck into them, that you actually hunted them .... the older buck would generally mean the harder to kill animal.

It'd mean more to me to hunt and kill the older buck I suppose, but both those bucks are not going to be gimmmeee animals, thats for sure.

I'd take my best shot opportunity !! And hopefully be able to hunt the other one the rest of the season !

[8D] Dang Rack, I gotta get into the 21st Century, I'm still goin afield packin my slide rule. By the way I know what you mean about theupstate NY mentality. I originally grew up in Poughkeepsie, NY and all my buddies from L.I. & the metro region considered I was from Bumf... Eqypt. Thought I was a furiner was always the pronunciation.
