WV HUNTER.... I've sat 60 yards from Len and watch him prepare for a shot. One I remember he was still sitting down. The deer is walking by on his left, he has the bow in his left hand ready to shoot. The deer does a 90 and walks almost under him to the other side. He just switched hands and whack. Hell of a deal.

[8D] Great last day story David. I can tell the Three Musketeers had a real hoot to tide them over off season. Is'nt it amazing how small areas can contain so many deer and conceal them so well. When I ground, slow hunt towards my son I know that most of the critters heading his way will never be seen by myself. My satisfaction comes when I arrive and he's grinning ear to ear. I love that grin cause I know the hard work and scouting culminated when a nice one presents himself in one of Joe's shooting lanes. Nothing like hunting with knowlegeable buddies. Nice going fellas and enjoy your off season.

[8D] That a boy, Len. You hopped back into the winners circle quickly. That twig incident could have easily shaken many a hunters confidence. By getting right out there, with good friends and scoring your 20 th. will carry you confidently towards next season. My congrats to you, David and Roger on a cold but fun hunt to end your season.

Great story David. You have no idea how envious I am of you and Len. You maryland guys have way too long of a hunting season. So how long will it be before you can start shooting them again...4...5 months tops? [>:]

Wow you guys have us all GREEN with envy with your bow hunting adventures.

20 deer in a year with a bow!!! Are you kidding me (I know your not [&:])! There are many bow hunters who won't shoot that many in their lifetime. []
Congratulations!!!

"He sits in a tree with a release on each hand." Len you would have made a great gun-slinger in the old west. (As long as you didn't bring your bow to a gun fight )

David, great story, thanks.
