A friend of mine lives in the country and has or actually had 3 dogs. Two weeks ago one of his dogs disapeared. He was bummed out but thought it was chasing a bitch or got hit by a car.Well I saw him again this weekend and he said he lost another dog. This one had been ripped apart by wolves. They grabbed his nose and his hind quarters and actually ripped it in two pieces. Now he knows what happened to the first dog.He told me he could see where the wolves had bedded down 10 feet behind the swing set in his backyard.I know what the laws say. What would you do?I feel sorry for the dogs what a way to go!!

I wrote this before I saw the big debate going on here.I personally like the wolves. You dont see them very often but when you do it's a thrilling site.If you ever get close enough to look them in the eyes it's an awesome thing.By the look in there eyes you can tell that they dont take no sh&t.Of course you gotta draw the line somwhere and I think these wolves crossed that two weeks ago.

Well first of all I wouldn't let my dog run loose like a wild animal. Second of all if I did let my dog run loose like a wild animal I would expect my dog to be treated like a wild animal and wild animals get killed in the wild. It's part of that whole cycle of nature thing........ Now has far has the wolves venturing that close to my home, I would give a warning shot the first time or two the I would kill one of them the next time etc. until they all got killed or quit showing up at my house.
