i was reading the new york fish and game book and the guy who write the article said they are very few young hunters!!!!!!! me i know real good 20-25 kids my age and know one bow hunts!!!!!! what is everybody age and what age did you start hunting... me iam 18 hunting since i was 13 and i wouldh[:-] bow hunt any day over gun!!!!!!!

47 and been using a bow to hunt with since I was 5

I'm 38, been hunting with bow since I was knee high. Started hunting deer and elk when I was 14. Got the witch out of my bow when I was 17(first deer).

i'm 20 years old and have been rifle hunting since i was 12......I got a bow last year so i'm just gettin going on bowhunting...Bowhunting is great but i still like to use my rifle on occasion.

Young hunters are the future of our sport. Start them early but don't push them.

[8D] I'm 53 and have been hunting since 12. My only son got involved when he was 15. We love each others company and enjoy our hunts tremendously. I also urge hunters to bring their kids to the sport. The only caveat I would add is that you think very carefully about grooming young hunters. Show them what is available and see if their interest has been raised. If they don't show much interest I would strongly urge that you back off. If they want to try hunting in the future they will step forward and let you know. In the meantime please be the model hunter that all of us would be proud to partner with on a hunting venture. When kids see behavior that they respect they will follow your gentle lead. JMO

21 year old been hunting with a bow since i was 16

I am 32 now. Started shooting at 10 and hunting whitetails at 14. My daughter is now 14 and has been shooting a year now and going strong, hopefully she will be hunting soon.
