I am going deer hunting soon and need some broadheads. These need to be able to take down the whitetail and mabey some hogs. I am leaning towards the Montec G5. What would you suggest. Thanks

Muzzy worked for me. Taking down a spike and a 5x5 bull elk. Good luck.

There are so many to choose from. I would suggest Muzzy or Thunderheads.

MUZZY AND THUNDERHEADS are good ones.but there are others. like wasp.rocky mt.zwicky.and many others thatwill do the job with no problem.just stay away from cheep brands like terminater and some like that. if you have to go to the nearest archery shop and ask for some help!

Lots of good ones out there but this year I am going to switch and use the Montec, looks like a good broadhead.

Looks like you've already picked out a good one with the
Montec. If you're gonna shoot a hog with some size
to it, I'd definitely go with a quality BH like some
of those mentioned. I, myself, prefer Wasp SST's closely
followed by Muzzy.

I havn't shot the G5 Montecs but from what I have heard, you can't go wrong with this b-head. I have seen some pics of tests that people have done with these heads and the results are amazing. one guy I saw shot one into a solid steel beam that was 1" by 5" and the tip of the head just bent.

There are other great heads out there.... the Muzzys and Thunderheads are some proven b-heads and these two heads have probablly killed more animals than all other b-heads combined!

I've used Muzzy's the last two years. Can't complain about them. I've shot two deer. Both were pass throughs. Decent blood trails. Nothing outstanding. But this coming season I'm going to try 125 gr. 4 blade magnus stingers. I've heard they're a great broadhead.

As has been stated the muzzys and thunderheads perform well.
I recommend the slick trick. It is similar to a 4 blade muzzy except cuts a 1/8 inch larger hole. Good luck what ever you choose.
