Default Drop Away Rest! Should I?

I know there has been alot of talk on here about drop away rests and that combined with everything I read about them has me curious.

Has anyone used them and went back to their old style or do most if not all of you agree that you get better flight and tighter groups with them?

If so, which is the easiest to use and the one that is least prone to failure in the field. The Drop Away and the Muzzy ZE interest me the most.

Also, I read somewhere that they can be somewhat noisy. Any comments on that?

Thanks in advance.

I had a trophy taker and it worked great, it was very accurate and very quite. However, I just never could get comfortable with it. I went back the prong style.

Flipout...do a search on drop away rests. I'm sure you'll get alot of info. Every rest out there has been run through the ringer here. My choice is the MZE. Great rest

WV, did you put fleece or mole skin on the rest itself? The part that actually raises and holds the arrow?

I have to agree with WV Hunter. I have moleskin on my MZE and it is the quietest part on the bow. Shoots great to boot!
