Hunting season is over for a lot of us and every year I am more amazed by the whitetail deer. It just boggles my mind that an animal can take and arrow or bullet right through the lungs and still run away. I was just wondering what the longest distance a deer has ran from you after being double lunged with a bullet or broadhead. I would have to say 60 yds with a gun, and I haven't double lungged one with a bow yet. (spine shots)

I shot one many years ago and used a Truflite broadhead, (3 for 2.99$ cheap junk!!!) right through both lungs and had to track clear across 2- 40's, about half a mile and when I got to it it ran so I had to let it go overnight.. True testiment about having a razor sharp broadhead that stays razor sharp after going through the hide.
