Aim double lung, can't lose situation, pleanty of other vitals right there in case you are off some. I really can't see why anyone would want to aim any where else then just behind the shoulder a bit.

Broadside, go for the center 12 ring on a Mckenzie 3D target. If the animal is quartering, you imagine the same spot in the center of the animal instead of the side. Best percentage shot there is. Allows the widest possible margin for error in any given direction.
