Taz, still haven't got a chance to get out after whitetails yet. Heck, still haven't even seen one in person! I'm hoping over the next couple of years while we are down in Vegas, I'll get out east a ways and go after them. I'll probably be hugging the west coast next season though, hunting blacktails in California right after elk and mulies in Oregon.
Stealthy, about 200 miles south are the nearest real trees, we've got some bushes, but just on the river for the most part. That's why they call it barren ground, it all looks like that.
