RE: What was your first bow?
My first bow was a Bear Cub recurve. It was a wood laminate with hand wrapped leather grip. It was also rated at #47. That was back when they made them...tested them....then rated them. Didn't get exact weights until a little later. My second bow was a #50 pound Shakespear recurve. I used that bow so much it literally felt like an extension of me. Those were simpler days...back when one thought a #40 - #45 bow was more than sufficient for deer and black bear! And with the Bear Razorheads, Zwickleys, etc.. broadheads, and wooden shaft arrows....they were.

My first bow was a PSE Polairos(sp) compound. 41" a/a I could hit better with that little cheap bow, than any I've had since then. don't know why unless it was the long a/a and braceheight. I'm goin back to a 41" er after I shoot this MQ1 for a year or two, just to see.

My first bow was a pse polaris 45-60 with round wheels and teardrops to change the string yourself.I bet I used that 10 years almost. My next bow will be pse and simple also.I have used a hoyt raptor with super g limbs for 4-5 years now and still always think of the old one.

My first bow is the one I still use.....PSE Nova
But I have been eye balling the PSE Primos STL lately[:-]
Edit: after reading and discovering that PSE produsts are made in China I am reconsidering this...this stinks!
