My first and only bow is a PSE thunderflite. Shoots a little slower than the new bows but its more foregiving and much quieter.

My first bow was a brand new, shiny Ben Pearson recurve.

Vintage 1972. Took my first buck with it in 1974. A 5 pointer, but he was a trophy!

Bear Kodiak Magnum

HUGE wooden handle, thick fiberglass limbs, man that was top of the line back in 1983. Just a bow and some arrows, no sight, no release, no peep....nothing.

Thinking back on it, it's amazing I ever hit a deer with that thing but I killed three deer with it. After the third one, I ran over it with my 3 wheeler. I have had many bows since but that one will always be my most memorable.

My first bow was a recurve and I don't even know what kind it was. My first compound was a Hoyt Prohunter that I got in 1987.

58" Indian recurve that was stacking around 60lbs at a 30" draw.
