I'm with IAKSmith. I took a home equity loan for a bunch of work I needed done and then put the whole thing on my Cabelas visa. When it was all said and done I got myself a new Knight muzzleloader with the Cabela bucks I earned. I figure I might as well get something for nothing! It doesn't happen too often!

ny bowhunter, just a suggestion about spending all your dough at Bass Pro Shop. Take a part-time position at their store in Auburn. Most retailers give an employee discount. Might help with the bride looking for grocery $$'s also.

Cabelas all the way! I got tired of things I was trying to order over the phone from Bass Pro's being back ordered, plus what they did have took 10-14 days to get to my door. I've only had 1 single item back ordered from Cabelas, and I recieve all my merchandise in 3-5days! Same type standard UPS shipping for both. You can't beat it!!!!!!

Someone has to say it, so I will, support your local proshop.
Having said that, I get most of my nik nacks from BPS, the other 75% of my hunting gear comes from my local shop.

Same here and when I acumulate enough points I go and buy myself not neccesasarily something I need, but rather something that I want or wouldn't have normally purchased.
Some one mentioned Gander Mountain and at ont time I swore by them. Then one day I stopped getting catalogs and couldn't find their address in any mag. I think they had financial trouble. Then a friend turned me on to Bass Pro, Which was a fair substitute. But then I found Cabella's and have been hooked ever since. That was about 3-4 mortgage payments ago.

i use both but BASS PRO RED HEAD has always been better for me. my CABELAS orders take a week to get to me as compared to 3 to 5 days from RED HEAD BASS PRO. BASS PRO will price match. i called cabelas once and they basically laughed at me about price matching[:'(] im sold just on that! BASS PRO gives you points on your account no matter what credit card you use and it really adds up after a while. prices are similar but those above reasons makes me go with bass pro most of the time. i get my fancy ammo from NATCHEZ SHOOTERS because they always have it in stock from triple o buck to 338 win mag. bottom line price is whay matters

Liquidorange: The only orders that take a week are the BPS orders, I have nothing but slow shipping with BPS, and I am not going to spend an eaxtra amount of money for the 3-5 day shipping, when Cabelas gurantees your order in 5 days, unless the item is backordered, I am not sure what Cabelas you are shopping at!
