I AM GOING HUNTING FOR ELK WITH MY BOW TOMORROW! I JUST BOUGHT SOME NEW CLOTHS TONIGHT FOR THE SNOW. I AM GOING UP WITH A FRIEND WHO HAS SEEN 65 ELK IN THE LAST TWO DAYS WITH A COUPLE OF 5x5'S! I DON'T THINK I HAVE EVER BEEN THIS EXCITED FOR A HUNT.

Is anyone else hunting this weekend? what for?

Good luck on a big bull. That is something that I have dreamed about, hunting bull elk with a bow.


I will be out tommorw, well, I guess, today, Saturday. It is the last day of the Pennsylvania whitetail season. I will be hunting for one of the big bucks seen in the area.

Good luck to both of you. I am breaking out the thinsulate bibs for the first time due to the cold, and the orange since its muzzleloader weekend here in Illinois. Handwarmers will be in both pockets too. Going to either of 2 spots in the morning if the wind keeps coming out of the east.

I hear you Cougar about the cold weather. It was down-right cold yesterday evening and this evening when I was out hunting. The temps dropped down into the 20 degree range, but, we had 20 mph winds that cut through you. That is when I start to layer up BIGTIME. This skinny little PA redneck gets cold quick

Thanks Buck, I have not been able to hunt since Monday morning. These 3-11 shifts mess me all up.
