We need strength in numbers east coasters. I feel like I am playing a football game tomorrow with the nervous prospect of all day rain and thunderstorms here and there. I was invited to a good spot for tomorrow and I will be on stand all friggin day....anyone else scared? Sometimes knowing the weather will be hell makes you want to just stay home! Not I!.........(ok maybe)

It will be raining pretty much all day tomorrow here in Pa, and going by what I've seen on good days weather wise, I'll be sleeping in! I'm kind of burnt out from many hours ofnot seeing ANYTHING anyway.[&o]

early---I have been reading your posts and I am sorry. I only saw around 15 deer from stand last year, only 3 bucks. This year I have already seen 13 different bucks. It can change from year to year. I wonder what is going on with your area? Maybe you should mix it up and do some stalk hunting when the weather dies down. It will be quiet and the deer will be moving to feed after being pinned down after many hours. Also, it could help you scout some areas that you would not otherwise see if you are in stand....just some thoughts. Best of luck, and if anyone deserved to get a shot off at something, it is you because of how many hours you have put on stand.

I think I may sit in my ground blind by the clover tomorrow...if I go. Its the only way I will stay out for any length of time.

Hoyt, that looks comfortable and warm....I on the other hand will be trying to see if the bigtime raingear that was given to me last year is up to par....oh boy. The only thing I can think of is if I last through the bad parts of the freaky rain storm, then there has to be a pot of gold at the end....right?

Tomorrow:Snow showers and flurries possible during the morning with a chance of continued flurries later. Temps nearly steady in the mid 30s. Winds NNW at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of snow 30%.
I'm guessing I'll wimp outof an all day hunt.Stupid wind.
