Default Goldtip Arrows (rubing of the green band?)

I was thinking of purchasing some goldtip xt arrows and was wondering if I can rub of the green band (the band that has the name, type etc. on it). I don't like the look of it. Does it come off? Has anybody tried? Thanks for your time.

It comes off whether you want it to or not

Some of my Goldtips "graphics" don't hardly rub off at all, but most of them have.

Acetone will wipe the stamp right off of the wood grain version. Give it a shot on the black ones.

I also dont like that green band. I think it is a sticker. Last year I used the black gold tip XTs and they didnt have that. This year I ordered the camo arrows and they came with that green band. It is very sticky. You can run your finger down the camo shaft and it is very smooth, then you get to that green band and it stops your finger.

I even thought that that sticky band would effect penetration but Im still getting all passthroughs. When I order more arrows I was going to ask if they could not put that green band on there.

But since you asked, I got a dime and if you apply just a little pressure you can rub it off. Dont know if thats a good idea though.

I'd try the acetone as mentioned above.

Acetone works. That is how I WIPED the green stamps off of my GTs.
