You guys are making me jealous
. We haven't had a good snowstorm in ND in 3 or 4 years. Anymore, when it snows, we only get a few inches at a time and it doesn't stick around for very long[:@]. I would absolutely love to see a snow storm like the East coast is getting.

But I went walking this AM and shot a buck still in his bed.
There weren't any fresh track though. I walked 100 yards and jumped a doe. I walked another 60-70 yards and spotted the buck in his bed on the next ridge at about 90 yards. I was gunslinging.

They were moving this morning here in Nj at about 2am. On my way in to work I almost nailed 4 of them with my truck. At the time it was still a light snow mix with freezing rain coming down on top of 7" snow all ready down.

I sat yesterday morning from 6 till 12 in the snow only seeing a measly little 6 pointer. I've passed on this deer 5 times now. He's mine next year. It was cold, snowy, and windy, but never the less I had a great time enjoying the outdoors.
