Default What to do???

Need some advice from you seasoned hunters

I just returned from the desert and missed the first rut here in South Carolina. I' ve found a couple of old scrapes but have yet to see a buck in 6 or so outings. Two days ago I happen upon an area that has more rubs than I can count over a 200 yard stretch and a new scrape on each end of this stretch. Today I hunted close to the scrape that had the most rubs around it, climbed down at noon without seeing anything. I decide to walk toward the other scrape and find 3 other scrapes on the way.

I' ve read that bucks don' t act the same the second rut as the first. Do you think this spot will be productive for the second rut? Will they tend these scrapes like they would have in the first phase? Will they continue to use this rub line during this second phase? All of my hunting has been in the mornings, I think I' m gonna sit all day Friday and Saturday if I can or just hunt the afternoons. Thanks for any input
