I hate it! Why can' t I get a deer. Just my first deer ever and I would be a happy camper! This weekend on the early youth hunt in Ohio, my friend bagged a 7 pt., my girl best friend bagged a doe, and I see a big buck and some idiot scares it off![:@] This season is just not my season. I am hoping moving my stand back to where i seen a 7 pointer, will give me some luck of at least seeing some deer. So, did anyone else do good this weekend at the youth hunt????

Growing pains my friend, we' ve all been there. It will get easier as you gain more experience as a bow hunter. You' ll begin to identify the perfect bowhunting setups, which are usually much different from the approach you would take as a gun hunter. Good luck and when you do get an opportunity, DON' T MISS

i wanted to kill a deer so bad with a bow that i was the deers best friend, started moving stands all over, only to see them where the stand used to be, almost gave up from frustration,
bow hunting is supposed to be fun, as said on this site many times," do the time, and it will come to you,
i see more deer and shoot more deer than my wife. because i put in the time. we both hunt the same stands by the way..
just relax, have fun and it will be your turn.

Just think..the time will come when you think the hunt is the most important part!
