What' s the deal with Zaft?

Wow, a Zaft post and no White Raven? Anyway, one of the recent bowhunting magizines had an article about just such a topic. None of the current world record holders got rich. Some got some free merchandise and a couple endorsements worth a few thousand dollars but not what most guys think. They interviewed Zaft and he said if he had it to do all over again, he' d just mount it and not tell anyone. Several other record holders agreed. Not worth the bullschmidt.[

i read in a magazine that one of the pts was ruled nontypical so he scored 170-some. still big. i wouldnt mind shooting one big but i wouldnt make it a big show to the whole world.[&o] that would be the wise thing to do.

If I ever do shoot a near-record size whitetail, I promise you I wouldn' t even consider making it public. It' s pretty much guaranteed that some bored, unlucky S.O.B will find a fuzzy spot in my story and turn me into public enemy number one in the whitetail world. Which is exactly what happened to Mitch Rompola and Wayne Zaft.

No way you really believe that BS.
