Minnesota Rut??????
Can anyone fill me in on how the rut is going in South Eastern Minnesota? Didnt get out all week but am hoping to get out on Saturday for a while, Just wondering If it was past the peak yet or If they are still rutting hard.

Best I can tell you is on Sunday every doe seemed to have a buck right behind it.
I shot an 8 pointer that was trying to catch up to a doe.
This has been the most visible rut I' ve ever hunted. I' ve seen more bucks running does this year then any other year.
Good luck this weekend, I' m going to be out trying to fill one more doe tag.

Good Luck to you too. I got A doe at the beginning of bow season ( my first ever with a bow) to fill my management tag, now I am looking for Mr, BIG. Sounds like it is going to be warm around here this weekend.
