But Taz, with all due respect, the stories are a bit ridiculous and there are gullable newbies out there that might swallow his fishies whole and go into the woods packing heat in the event an 88 year old black belt deer stealing maniac is on the loose on their back 40 just waiting to snatch their once in a lifetime trophy buck.

When you met Cardeer, did he have his amputated toe hanging around his neck? Just wondering.

No the last time I saw him was at the get together this year and he had not amputated the toe at that point. I know he has been making a necklace out og his teeth that have been falling out due to a degenerative bone disease he has, and no he didn' t get them pulled by a dentist, they simply come out.

Has anyone on this board actually met Cardeer in person? I' m just curious what he' s like in person. It' s easy to be a whole different person anonymously.
I have many times. Went on a hunting trip to SC for a week with him and midman (his son). He is a little excentric but I guarentee this, you will never meet a more geniune' sincere' and careing person in the world. His stories have a touch to them but if I were in battle there would be no one I would want to back me up than him. Off the top I can think of proablly 20 or more people here that have met him in person and all come away with the same fellings. He is a liveing legend and a devoted Christan.

I' m with ya all the way, Nub.

In fact, I' m wondering if we recently saw the thread that inspired this concoction.

I was out in old faithful, my guaranteed kill treestand, and I arrowed a nice 13 point. I waited about 40 minutes and get down to try and track the deer. I say try to track because I am blind in one eye. Anyway, on the hot rail of this buck and I see some old man draggind that damn deer to his truck. I stopped the old man and ask him whats going on and where' s he going with my buck. The old man tells me where to go and how to get there. Says he taking the deer and his " boy shot it." By this time I am pissed as hell. So I lose my cool and take a swing. That old boy must be in good physical shape cause he dodges my right fist comes around and dots me in my good eye. Well, now I can' t see at all and this old SOB lays a whooping on me like you would not believe.
How is it that the credits read when scrolling down at the end of a movie? Any similarities to real events are purely coincidence? ;)

Congrats Cardeer,
I just read on this site on one of the messages about a guy that said he got beat up by an old guy, over a 13 point deer. Wonder if it would be the same guy.

LOL.... Congrats again.
