Default buck and doe bedding question this tiem of year.

so after being banished from my honey hole on monday, i decided to take a walk across the ridge bhind my house that leads to my honey hole in search of a place to sit tomorrow. the ridge is lined in both sides by townhouses, i live in one, and at the end where i was walking today, it comes to a street. and then continues on the other side of the street for about 50 yards and ends on a busy street. so as im walking back there, i find a big water hole maybe 70yards by 25 that runs into the creek that runs along the ridge. i see a few tracks (nothing really worn) and a few rubs and thats about it. oh, and i also found a deer skeleton. anywho, so im walking back down to the path and bedded down in the creek bed is a buck staring at me. 4 point, not legal here in PA. same guy ive seen a few times before at my FORMER honey hole. so the question is, during this time of year are buck bedding in the general area of doe or are they leaving them during the day to bed down and then go back out and find them during the evening? my honey hole is to the east of my back door and i was to the west, the ridge connects the two, but the trees arnt very deep. i couldnt just sit in the trees cause some little kid would see me and run and tell mommy he saw a monster in the woods. next thing you know there would b a swat team and frikin helocopters surrouning me. but where i saw him today, i could easily conceal myself.

If a buck is on a hot doe, he won' t leave her side until he' s bred her. ' Cept to chase off other bucks, then it' s back to playing the waiting game. Once he breeds her, he' ll be off looking for another one.
