i have seen them big illinois bucks before, there can be some big bucks up there that can go over 200 hundred+ easy,i seen a big 12 pointer up there when we was rabbit hunting i had a chance to roll him with my 12 guage shotgun i was wonting to so bad but .... no buck tag.that buck had a 24 inch inside spread.big monster deer up there .still tryin to get my scousin to get permission to hunt some farms so where i can go hunting up there. MONSTER DEER,CORN FED DEER.

I was just talking to the folks at the bowshop who went hunting in I believe Macoupin county. Someone in their party shot a non-typical that green-scored 207. I did not see pictures.

correct me if Im wrong but corn has nothing to do with the growth of antlers..ist pure carbohydrates.. protein build antlers.. Im just correcting..not trying to start anything

Illinois, Iowa and Kansas. Anyone from there would probably pass on what I consider a monster in my area.
