A friend of mine told me a story about a guy from his work and another goofball were Hunting in Texas last week. This was the goofballs first time to hunt and had bought the rifle a week before the hunt.
He said the goofball was set watching the field and the other guy was coaching him what to do when a nice 8 point walked out into the open and goofy shot him.He runs immediatly to the deer picks his head up and lays his new rifle on the bucks horns and yells take my picture. As he was getting his camera out the buck began to struggle and stood up.Well guess what [
] the deer shook his head and ran away but the stupidist thing about it was the gun was stuck between his antlers and as the deer ran away all they could do is watch as the gun bounced around the antlers but never fell out .They claim to have looked for the deer and rifle for a week and cannot find it.[X(]
Whether this story is true or not I dont know but thought it was awful funny though and wanted to share it with you.Nowing these two guys I wouldnt put it passed it being true duhhhh.

I actually read that story in Outdoor Life magazine about 10 years ago. ' Cept he was alone, and propped the deer' s head up on a log, set the rifle in the rack, then backed off to take the picture.

That is actually the first time I heard that one...definitely a funny one but I doubt it is true.
