i sit about 15ft up in a tree and i' ve sat about 6ft up with wind directly from my back i' ve had deer within 50yds of me or less downwind and they have not noticed a thing, but my stand stays outside all year long, and my clothes are washed in scent free soap and dryed with fresh earth dryer sheets, have not been winded yet!

Scent control is very important, but I have a friend who doesnt wash his clothes, wear anything or really pay attention to the wind and Ill be darn if he doesnt shoot more than one deer a year. He has already killed a nine this year. I dont get it.
