Never been much of a full moon lover ,as far as hunting.Always not to good back here in the east.the deer eat all night then sleep all day. Yep a hunters MOON Why? Cause the native americans hunted them under the full moon light. Try that today and your in the poky for poaching. I dont like full moon as far as hunting and hate the cold wearther. But i have 10 days left of the Pa. bow season and will be out there. But under 30 degrees call the ambulance to help my bones move.

After all the heat this week--80' s for the last 5 days--the rain arrived today. With the cold front coming through tomorrow late in the day, I' ll be trying to decide where to be all day--everyday--until I bag Mr. Big.

This is absolutely killing me- the weather is finally cooling down in Illinois (hang on Tazman, its coming your way), and I have to take an all-day test on Saturday. What are people' s opinions about hunting the full moon. I have had without a doubt my WORST luck. We still have some standing corn in our area and I think that the deer just go out and eat with the night-light on.

Here in MT we have had snow for two weeks temps. at 0. Rifle season is open and last weekend I passed on many bucks that I stalked within 40 yards. It was good all day and I am hunting tomorrow, ALL DAY!
