how many of you shave your arm with your broadheads after you sharpen them, she thinks I am crazy for doing this

i do this with everything that i sharpen, then you know that a knife or a broadhead is sharp. if it can shave your arm, it can cut through anything.

Come the end of hunting season I have very little hair left on my arms and legs from sharpening broad heads and knives.

How else are we suppose to know if the things are sharp? Of course, I shave my left forearm the most.

I used to get the same flack from my wife about having bare patches on my arms. So, I made some modifications. Pull up the pants leg and make a test swipe. Now I' m pretty much hairless from the knees down.[8D]

I have never done this. But I never sharpen my broadheads either. But I never get them dull either. Umm.

You still have to sharpen the blades? I just buy replacement blades. I do it when I sharpen a knife though.
