Default Pins ?

What yardages do you have your pins set for? I was just a bit curious how your pins might reflect your hunting area or style. I have two pins set at 15 and 25 yards for my groundblind/stalking style that seems to suit the Eastern Shore of MD nicely.

20, 30, 40...I use the same set up for shooting 3-D so I do not change them.

Same here.... In fact, this afternoon after lunch, I was shooting my old PSE bow in my back yard into the big field bag target. I too shoot with 20-30-40 pins with 125gr field tips for targets and 125 Thunderheads for hunting.

My bow shooting accuracy is like this:
20 yard pin = 1/2" groups, dead center bulleye.
30 yard pin = 1" - 1 1/2" groups into bullseye or rim of bullseye
40 yard pin = 1 1/2" groups to worse - being all over the target (still a bit unsteady and not 100% confident in shot placement at 40 yards).

Just one pin set at 20 yds. I can shoot it from point blank to 30 yds. I' ve never shot further that 30 yds at an animal. Usually with a bit of luck they' ll keep coming in closer but if not, oh well. I' ll get them on the next hunt!
