Some bowhunting history
#1
As some here may know, I'm on the board of directors for the Wisconsin Bowhunting Heritage Foundation Museum. On Sunday (1/28/18) we had a meeting at the museum. This is one of the new displays. The only deer Fred Bear killed in Wisconsin.

Brief and poor quality cell phone video I took of some of the museum.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iS-o76S1eAc Wisconsin was the first state to have an archery deer license and season.

Awesome information & something I never knew. I took my 1st Horns near Boulder Jct. Ws & several other Deer in my younger years. Loved that area & have no idea how many hunts I've had up there.. My 1st trip was in 1958, the year I took my 1st Deer. These are my 1st ever & 2nd horns from boulder Jct. 1964 & 1965.. Sorry, did not mean to hijack.. These are some of my Boulder Deer & 4 friends (all passed) that I shared those fun times with as a kid & they introduced me to the N. woods of Boulder Ws..
