100lbs. is insane. I have a friend that shot a 200lb. hog and a 135lb. deer with a 60lb. buckmaster G2, Goldtip 55/75, and Rocket 125gr. buckblaster 2 3/4" expandable head. Both made about a 3 yard stagger and looked like they had a 5 gallon bucket of blood dumped on them. there is no need to hold that much weight if you put the arrow in the right place.

With the technology we have today, you don' t have to shoot that kind of weight. So why would you want to?

Look at me, Look at me........I can pull back a 100 pound compound.....

If you want to impress me, pull back and hold a 100 pound longbow.

That' s EXACTLY why I got a new bow last month. My old 10yr old bow might have had a high draw weight but it doesn' t have todays technology. My new bow is lighter, quieter, faster, etc. No complaints here.

besides I bet you in 5 years he wont be able pull it back without some amount of pain.. Im sure there is some damage to his rotator cuff, cartilage, or ligaments.. when he drops down to 50 and your pulling back 70.. then youll be saying.. I told ya so

Man with that kinda KE i would use those Jack-Hammers (i thunk they' re made by wasp???) expandables w/ a 3 1/2" cutting dia. that would do a # on any animal as far as im conserned.

30 years ago I knew a guy by the nickname of Animal. He shot a hundred with a 35 percent let off.[:o] Worked at a packing plant lugging beef. About 29 years old and at the physical peak of his life. Wonder whatever happened to him? I remember he shot the biggest mule deer I ever saw on a trip to Colorado back then.
