i shot my first buck with a bow and cannot find him we searched for 2 hours had real good blood and then it thened out. i shot the buck 5 yards quarting away hit him a little bit high just above the lungs it paralyzed him. stuck another in him. he got up and hobbled off to the big woods. waited till a hour then called my dad and friends. tracked had good blood then it went out. i am depressed. i grunted this buck up with a rod benson call. now lets hear the you suck , you just wounded a animal, you should had a better shot on him.lets hear it.

Bobcat, where did your second shot hit him? How far did you track him before you ran out of blood? You may have really gotten his adrenaline going, and he ran an extra long ways.

Bobcat, I am gonna guess that if you didnt get guts, that you got the liver. A deer can go a long ways on a liver hit. Hopefully you werent pushing him while you were tracking, and you will find him in the morning. By morning he will have had plenty of time to lay down and die. Good luck finding him tomorrow.

JUST KIDDIN #10. I' d say liver sounds about right. Was he on a deer trail in the big woods when ya lost him? If so, try following it and any others in the area for a bit. You might pick up some more blood. Don' t give up the search yet. Good luck in the A.M.
