Well guys, thought about it if it came to that....but it won' t........the leasing part that is.
Besides, I have other land to hunt if it came to that...... Nope, won' t ruin my bow around his neck, hate to have to break in another good Martin!
Going to my stand early this afternoon, hoping the guy has something to say to me if we run into each other. Good weather today and don' t really want to bother the farmer as he is scrambling to get more crops harvested due to rain forecasted this weekend. But if the guy tells me to my face himself, we are both going around to talk to the farmer and get it straightened out.

I have only had that happen once. I was sitting in my stand one evening and here comes this guy walking down the trail right in front of my stand. When he gets close enogh I say " Hey do you have permission to be here" and he says " Sure do, I hunt here every year" . Well I proceed to him that the landowner had told me that me and my 2 hunting buddies were the only ones that had permission to hunt his property and if we saw someone to ask for written permission. The guy said he didn' t have it on him and I said well I have his phone number on my cells speed dial lets call him. The guy left

CougerMag you mentioned the farmer was scrambling to harvest - maybe offer him some help one afternoon and discuss what happened. That way you arent bothering him and he' ll probably appreciate the help. Chances are the other guy hasnt offered a hand and maybe it will be you telling the other guy the farmer said you could run him off.
