Wouldn' t ya know it...
Been bowhuntin' for bucks the last two weeks and have seen so many does I' ve lost count. Decided to take out the muzzleloader and harvest a doe yesterday and guess what? All I saw was BUCKS! 5 of them. All within bowrange. One really nice 8 pt. I did not see one doe, I couldn' t believe it. These deer must have a Hunting Digest with the season dates.[:-]

I like to stick with my bow even when muzzleloader season starts. My buddy has offered his inline muzzleloader if I want to go out. I like to wait until after bow season is over before resorting to firearms for deer.

I carried my bow on the opening afternoon of muzzleloader season here. The guns were going off all around me, but I took a nice buck that evening. I' ve been taking my bow during the modern firearms seasons for the last couple years as well.
