Default HAVING TROUBLE INSTALLING MY PEEP SIGHT....

I am new to bow shooting and this is my first bow. I just bought a new peep (dusk vision) and i put it on my bow, then the directions say to " whip tie" above and below the sight with nylon string. Is there a special string I have to get from a shop or what? Also...what does " whip tie" mean? Thanks in advance.

Whipping is a nautical term.If you have a book on boating knots it should be there.
It is used to tie the ends of rope.

As far as string material, many use dental floss. Whipping...just wrap it around the string 7 or 8 times then tie it off.
