Just to let you folk' s know we got back a couple week' s ago and got a 1000lb bull at 5yrds and he only ran 15yrds ,double lung and heart shot finished him quick.

But once again I must say where is the story of the hunt and PICTURES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ausie -Guy I tried to attach a pic but it wouldn' t except it have any idea' s how I can attach them {What if I change the size of them?}I must say that when we got to white River Ont thing' s were real quiet there was no obvious sign anywhere so the first 3 day' s was spent looking . To start it rained for all3 of those day' s so we didn' t get a lot of hunting done.the 4th day the rain had stopped and the temp had dropped dramatically and when we went out first thing we found where a bull had run the road just down from camp for about 2 miles, this is where we started in this area. We had to get down and get dirty we weren' t about to find anything if we weren' t willing to work for it .We all set up along this area and looked everywhere where you couldn' t get to by vehicle it was time to look down around the edges of cut' s and near small lakes and other area' s you wouldn' t normally look If your a rifle hunter. But being a bow hunter this was a very important lesson to us all you can;t just expect them to come to you.As this all starts to unfold the small cut that I' ve hunted in the past I was able to find some fresh moose dung just behind my stand so this was definetly a good sign this for sure was today' s . As the late afternoon come and went and none of our calls were getting any reply' s we called it a day.Back at camp I was happy to show the guy' s what I had found a couple of small samples on a piece of bark off a tree.But these guy' s upped the antewhen they had found fresh bull track' s and a bull heavily used rub line smashed and brocken tree' s and all.Well now we have a good spot to hunt so we need a perfect set-up and a good wind before we hunt it .Monday morning was the day we hunt this spot it was a very crisp and cold morning no wind or noise to contend with.The morning went by and no luck came with it Kevin had a bottle of cow urine and sprayed it all over the ground in front of the tree' s he had almost ripped out of the ground . We decided to go back to camp and have some lunch and come up with a new plan ,this bull had a trail in the shape of a U and 2 rub lines that crossed the U at the bottom of the U was a small lake so we sent Kevin to the bottom near the lake and Darin took the first trail where the tree' s were all ripped the next trail up about 50yrds was Rick on the other side of the U was myself and Ted . This bull could come from anywhere so we all have a good chance .Darin was calling and a few minutes later he heard what he thought might be a grunt but he wasn' t sure so he cow called again and sure enough he got another grunt and he heard the bull take a few step' s toward his direction but again he hung up on him ,this happened about 5 time' s before the bull came right in on himDarin looked to his left and there he was broadside 5yrds away and head down smelling the cow urine then he lift his head and looked down towards the lake and Darin let him have it double lung and heart shot he ran 15yrds and fell over kicking .As it turned out it was a very easy job getting him out and back to camp in one piece. We are 2 fo 3 in bowhunting but we really should be 3 for 3 but thing' s happen when the pressure is on .
