They have been discussing this for a couple of years now. I wish it was effective this year because last week I had 2 bear about 250 each lay 25 yards from my stand. They laid there for about 20 minutes until I rattled my antlers to get them out of the area. A great experience but not good for seeing deer.

if they had a archery bear season during the rut (the last week of archery) the rotten sob' s probably wouldn' t let us shoot a deer ! leave it alone it' s bad enough we have gun hunters in the woods we only get two weeks of peace and quiet . we don' t need them taking more time from us. if they let us hunt deer too then it would be ok!
