You could have B.S.ed us a bit and said that he caught the movement of your eyes and couldn' t figure you out, then he started hooking on your tree that your stand was on and almost shook you out, and then he started climbing the tree and you shot him out of self defense.... []


Ok. Ok. Ok. Maybe that' s going a bit far, but there' s gotta be more to the story what kind of weather, time of day, etc...

Any buck gotten with a bow should be considered a trophy.Anybody can set back and shoot a rifle at 100 or so yards and get a deer.But it is alot harder to get within stones throw of a deer and be able to control your excitment long enough to send an arrow to say hello.Congrats on your deer.
