WV - Hunters Helping Hungry Info.
Hey guys just wanted to let you know that the HHH program is going on again in West Virginia. If anyone needs to know where to drop off donated deer in your area just tell me what county you are in and I will post the drop off locations in your area.
This is a great program and feeds a lot of hungry people in WV. I work for the Mountaineer Food Bank and we pick up the meat from the processors and deliver it to the needy throughout the state, we are non-profit and we do not charge the state for delivering this meat.
If anyone has any questions about this program please post here and I will answer asap.
Have a great day!

Hey Dacotah,
That is exactly how the program works, you field dress the deer and then just drop it off at the processor and they take care of it from there.
The state pays the processor, we pick up the meat and deliver it for free.
Its a great program and it helps alot of people not to mention that in certain areas of the state the does could sure use a little thinning and the people could sure use the meat.
Thanks for your interest.
