I'm looking to buy a base layer this year. In the past I have always just worn long johns. Looking into buying under armor type base layer. What do you guys use and why. And what should t I stay away from. Would like to stay at or under the $100 mark. I can do more but I may just have to wait a little longer.

I have only tried 2, the UA and Nike. Of those 2, I prefer the UA Coldgear, the Nike Combat Wear doesn't seem to fit as well. The bottoms slide and worst of all - no fly!
