My quiver is attached to my bow. I want to have all my arrows right there--in case a follow-up shot is needed, and don' t want to have to be looking for where I hung the quiver in the tree!

I always take my quiver off my bow when I get to my stand. It adds a lot of weight and the bow dont shoot as well with it on, not to mention the added noise some quivers make.

I remove mine when Im in the stand. I shoot just fine with it on but, I like to lay the bow across my lap. Its just easier with it off

I like to practice with the quiver both off and on. However once I' m up in my stand I remove the quiver. I too like to have my bow on my lap or across my arm rest. The quiver gets in the way. Not to mention the bow definately has a more balanced feel without the quiver.

My quiver is detatchable and I remove it when I get into my stand and hanf it on a limb. I don' t think it affects my shot it just adds weight to the bow and if you have to hold your bow the whole time, a quiver makes it awkward.

I shoot a removable PSE quiver on my bow. I practice with it both on and off, and I hunt both ways as well. When on the ground, I always leave it on in case I need to pick up and move in a moment' s notice. I don' t want to waste time taking it off a hook and putting it on. However, if I' m hunting out of treestand I like to take it off. It takes a lot of weight off the bow and I find I can hold just that little bit more steady and for a longer period of time if need be. I always keep it close at hand though, just in case.

I use the Bohning Lynx 4 and will leave it on just so that I don' t have to fumble around and get another arrow if I need to.

I use the two piece Mathews quiver which is always attached, ' cause I don' t just sit in a tree to hunt. I hunt elk, mule deer, coyotes, antelope and whitetails, most of which aren' t hunted from up in a tree. More noise with it on, I don' t think so. Would I shoot better with it off, I don' t think so. What works for some won' t work for others.

There was a good Debate on Quivers between Randy Ulmer and Chuck Adams in bow and arrow mag. Both aggreed the a removable quiver is the best choise. Adams never shoots with a bow quiver he only uses a hip quiver. A quiver will affect your shooting. The best advise is to shoot with and without and see the diffrence for your self.

I myself payed $80 for a mathews quiver and didn' t like it. The added weight on one side of the bow made it harder to steady and I could never get it completly quiet. I went back to my removable quicky quiver. In my opinion the best choise in quivers for stationary shooting. Good luck Jim
