I found a new bowhunting spot during the 2013 gun season that is off a walking trail. I went out and looked at spot yesterday and there is still alot of sign in the area. The deer come from creek bottom up to ridge top because bank going east is really steep, so I think it funnels them up. My question is: Is it a waste of time to setup a stand 40 yards from a trail that is used by hikers and snowmobiles?
