I like the idea of the new portable Summit. Not sure the name but you attach the stand to the strap. Looks like it would be easy to put up. Anybody buy one this year? How do you like it?

I bought the Lite version. Easiest to hang, most comfortable, ROCK SOLID stand I have ever bought. And only 10# to boot.

I have not tried any of the newer hang on stands from Summit, but judging from the quality of all their other products I would say these two would be excellent stands. I have yet to try a Summit stand that was not good to excellent in everyway. I really liked the old Copperhead XL hang on stands, very comfortable and easy to hang. You could also adjust it to fit not so straight trees.

Mike from Texas,
Yes those are the stands. I have 5 APIs and a API climber but I like the summits climber stands better. I like the idea of the straps to hang a stand. Have you tried them?
