Awesome pics. Too bad I' m a poor college student otherwise I would make a trip up that way sometime. I wouldn' t even have to hunt to have fun. It just looks so nice up there.

I still think you are nuts!!! But that is one of the reasons I like this forum so much, I may never be able to see a wild grizzly up close and having you snap pictures at 20 yards is the next best thing.

Some photographers, newscasters and videographers put themselves in various situations every day to get the right footage.
It helps having been around grizzlies for the last 6 years. I' ve spent alot of time watching their mannerisms and actions. Bears sure do have a bad rap when it comes to getting close to them. Sure they aren' t very personable critters, but if that bear was going to maul me or tear me a new one, it wouldn' t of waited around to do so. He got frustrated with me being close, so he ran me off. Not the first time a bear has done that to me.
The fog is in thick tonight, as well as all day, so looks like the bear will get a rest from me tonight.

One last picture... I was going through the video and found out I can record photos right off the film. I waited for a good pose, so here it is. Check out them chompers! He was chewing while I was taking the video, but I think it could pass as a GRRRR!
