Clear at the bottom. I got it on sale for $99.99 at Gander Mountain. I like it so far. I put it on a tree in the back yard and climbed on up. The only downfall I can find is the weight
but it was there, and I could afford it, so I got it
Do any of yall have an opinion or a thought about this stand? Any experience with it?

Did you buy if from the Niles store around 5:30 6:00ish? There were 2 guys around their late teens behind me in the check out who had that treestand. I wonder if it was you.

looks almost like my hunters view hawk cable climber...but mine has a higher back rest.
here' s some advice....slouch in the stand, put your knee' s on that padded rest infront and take a nap. lol.../that' s how you stay on stand all day.

Sounds like a good idea....ha! It works like a charm. LOL. If you make it from day light till 10am without seeing a deer...the minute you fall asleep...the biggest dear in your area are dancing the jig around your tree. Atleast that' s what I think happens. And I have good evidence to prove it.....
One time I shot at a doe and missed. So I got down and looked for the arrow....turns out I couldn' t find it, and it just happened to be my last arrow, and I wouldn' t have anymore arrow' s until that afternoon. So instead of leaving my buddy on the ridge. I got back into the climber and took a nap. I suddenly awoke a hour later to the sound of something walking...I look up the hill expecting my buddy only to find a large 6 point nosing around the area. He ended up crossing 15 yards infront of me....and the sad part...it took him 30 minutes to make the trip from comping into sight to leaving sight. lol. [&o]

Sounds like a good idea. I always feel like all the deer know when you fall asleep, as soon as you do they all come out and run around your tree
