The hardest part is picking a spot to setup and also be aware that the does you call in are on the highest of alert, they expect to find a predator or a deer in troubles so they come in very attentive and on edge.

I' ve called in deer while fox hunting, that have come in to see what was going on. Although it can call them in at times, I wouldn' t rely on it as a way of hunting them. Its too inconsistent, and they will be too alert coming in. Set up along trails and try hunting them the more typical ways.
