Default Snyper broadheads.....

Since I' m planning to shoot the Snypers this year, I shot a couple to test there performance. That shot well and if I get a shot at a deer, I' m confident they' ll do the job....but....where do the rubber bands go?? My assumption is, it gets pushed down the shaft, across the blades, and shoots off into space...true?? I wasn' t able to find any replacements in the locale stores, but while on a visit to my daughters orthodonist office, got an idea. Picked up some bands from the ortho office and tried them...they work quite well...and they were free.....well the braces cost $5000....but the band were free.....anybody ever use these??
