I recently purchased a Diamond Infinite Edge to try my hand at archery season this year right now I am shooting the target and getting it all sighted in and everything and as of now it is set on 50lbs draw weight but before archery season I'm hoping to bump it up to 60 lbs and I was wondering which broad heads you all would recommend for a first time archer.
thanks in advance for all advice.

I like the style that opens on impact, they cut a huge hole and animal goes down quickly. But I only take broadside, behind the front shoulder shots .When you decide on your broadheads put them on different arrows and spin them, any that dont spin true get switched to another arrow until you all your arrows spin true. This will cut down your group size.

100% correct! You also lose a little energy when the broad heads open...fixed blades all goes to the point/blades.

Find a broadhead that shoots good for your bow and stick with it - you might find some economical broadhead that works fine. See http://www.huntingnet.com/forum/sear...?searchid=4678 for many discussions on this topic.
