Have any of you had luck with luring in coyotes for a shot? We have a couple of them on our hunting property that are stalking the fawns.
Any advice on getting them to come close enough for a bow shot? We have used calls and observed responses, but it hasn't been significantly effective.
Thanks

Use a Feather Distractor,on a stick or close to where Your Bow Hunting on a over hanging branch...You could also use a rubber mouse squeaker for closer shots!
When I'm Bow Hunting for Deer it can be very limiting to how far out I can shoot a Coyote,a motion decoy would help also or even some Doe pee/urine would bring a Coyote in for a closer shot,I have many trail camera pictures of Coyotes running along field edges checking Deer Scrapes so setting up near them would be a good idea. Before in Missouri we weren't allowed to carry a Bow and a Firearm, now if We have a Concealed Carry Weapon Permit we can carry a handgun and get a further out shot at a Coyote!

They always just seem to be out of range.
